Edward was inspired by my like of creepy things. I know the smile is probably sort of weird on a bear inspired by "creepy things" but I am an optimistic and cheery sort of person. One does not have to be morose and mopey to like dark and creepy. I actually find it sort of balancing because I like beautiful creepy. Elegant creepy. Wispy, ethereal creepy. I have been rereading Poe and Coraline and have been trying to figure out what book to read next that is in the creepy category. Edward was actually named after Edward Gorey. The Gashlycrumb Tinies is one of my favorites by him. You can find Edward for sale at my shop.

I am in love! Edward is my favorite so far! It must be the pin stripes... I just watched Corpse Bride the other night for the first time and it inspried me tp dream up a Burton-Gorey-ish themed blog post. I must mention Edward!
